Acropora

Acropora are the pinnacle of SPS reef keeping.  No other genus of coral has the diversity and number of species as Acropora. These come in literally every color scheme imaginable. They are one of the most difficult corals to keep and sets a high standard for tank stability and husbandry skills. The challenge of keeping Acropora is due to their high demands for lighting, water flow, and stable water chemistry. Depending on species we’d recommend par anywhere between 250-500+ for optimal growth and coloration. As far as flow, we really don’t think you can give them too much without going crazy about it.
